This policy is to ensure that :
- Materials are sourced from a reliable and traceable source
- Workmanship conforms to the required specification
- All documentation is controlled and issued correctly
- All procedures are carried out by competent personnel
- Customers orders are delivered on time and in a good and safe manner
- Full checks are made to the final installations prior to handover
Any and all works that do not comply with the policy will be rejected by the company and corrected to the expected level of accuracy and quality prior to offering the same to its clients.
The company embraces the principles of continuous improvement and all employees are encouraged to review both their own and the company’s working practices and methods on an ongoing basis.
The ongoing suitability of this policy is evaluated regularly and will be updated should improved statements prevail.
Environmental Policy
HAWK Structures Ltd are a management company who contract their services and those of others through a sub-contracting agreement. The company purchases and arranges for the fabrication of steel and metalwork in both ferrous and non ferrous materials.
The company recognises that effective environmental management is a high priority and will ensure that the environmental requirements form an integral part of its business strategy.
HAWK are committed to ensuring that all reasonable steps are taken and upheld in terms of reducing environmental impact.
Reduce the creation, emission and discharge of any type of pollutant by:
- Minimising the consumption of all natural resources by ensuring that all waste materials are recycled.
- Considering localised suppliers and hauliers for all projects to minimise carbon emissions.
- Educating all employees to go about their business in an environmentally responsible manner.
The company will comply with all national environmental legislation and regulation, where no legal requirements exist the company will operate to ensure the minimal environmental impact from its processes or operations.
This policy will be reviewed annually and any changes conveyed to all persons working for or on behalf of HAWK Structures Ltd.

Health and Safety Policy
HAWK Structures Ltd are fully committed to achieving the highest standards of Health and Safety throughout the company.
The company recognises and accepts its responsibilities for securing the Health, Safety and Welfare of it's personnel and that of others who may be affected by any of the company’s activities and to this end, it is intended that the organisation operates in such a manner as to achieve the following:
- A safe and healthy place to work which has adequate welfare facilities, safe access and egress to and from it and adequate arrangements for dealing with an emergency.
- Machinery and equipment that is safe to use and to only undertake work that is safe to do.
- Arrangements that ensure that all articles (either raw materials or finished goods) and substances (chemicals and cleaning agents) are safe to use, handle, store and transport.
- Removal of, or reduction of all risks to a safe level and the controlling of hazards that have been identified following risk assessment.
- Providing all personnel with information, instruction, training and supervision needed to undertake their job roles in a safe manner.
- Consultation with all levels of personnel and information on issues relating to health and safety.
- Technical advice provided only by personnel that are competent to offer the same or where necessary, external consultant advice will be sought.
It is the belief of HAWK that compliance with this policy will positively contribute to the performance of the company as a whole and that by maintaining the same will contribute to the lowest levels of injury and ill health.
HAWK will remain persuant to the implementation of the policy to ensure that there is a continual improvement to health and safety and in so doing the company will, as far as is reasonably practicable:
- Ensure that the effective systems of communication are implemented and maintained.
- Ensure that effective arrangements on health and safety matters are in place.
- Ensure that expert advice is called upon as and where required.
- Ensure that all work place hazards are controlled.
- Ensure that all personnel are encouraged and given the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the implementation of the health and safety policy and all that it infers.
This policy will be monitored for its effectiveness and reviewed annually or before if required to do so under legislation or improvement.
